Our Story

We met by chance in the height of COVID, July 2020 in Healdsburg. What started as a spontaneous trip to wine country for Emma turned into something neither of us could have planned. At the winery, we were the only two people there. One conversation turned into laughter and the rest was history. The very next day, Chris picked Emma up and whisked her away on their first date. With the top down and the California sun shining, we drove through wine country getting to know each other and fully leaning into that unexpected, magical honeymoon phase in the middle of a very strange time in the world. From there, life opened up in the best way. Together, we embraced a nomadic adventure, living and working remotely across the U.S. and Mexico, sharing new experiences, making friends, and collecting plenty of stories along the way. We supported each other through big transitions: Emma stepping out of tech and into the wellness world, and Chris making the leap from wine into tech. Three international trips, two cross-country moves, and one very important addition, Nugget, later, the past five years have been expansive, grounding, and a lot of fun. Now, we’re so excited to step into this next chapter, deepening our commitment, our partnership, and our life together. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and booty wiggle on the dance floor!
